Zoralco semi-solid floor is a floor made one hundred per cent of natural wood that does not undergo any modification processes. It ideally combines working properties and aesthetic values of wood with the ease of installation and maintenance. Zoralco floorboard ensures excellent thermal and acoustic isolation; it is resistant to strain and mechanical damage. The wood hygroscopicity allows floorkiet for the natural regulation of the microclimate of the interior in which it is fitted. All the components used to produce the flooring conform to the toughest environmental norms. The floor can be laid in bedrooms, children rooms and nursery schools at no risk.
Zoralco semi-solid flooring - means three layers of natural wood and as many as seven protective coatings:
- Two layers of acrylic surface finish, UV hardened
- Three layers of acrylic primer, UV hardened
- Acrylic filler, UV hardened
- Ground layer, UV hardened
- Face (top) layer (3.5mm): beech, oak, sycamore, pine, birch, and exotic timber.
- Core (centre) cross band (8mm), softwood
- Back (bottom) layer (3.5 mm), coniferous.
The Zoralco semi-solid flooring consist of three layers of natural wood fixed with an ecological adhesive-to-wood bond. The bottom and core layers are made from softwood and measure 3.5 mm and 8 mm respectively, while the face layer, 3.5mm in thickness, is made from precious wood. The decorative veneer of the product is polished and may have seven coats of UV lacquer (in different gloss options), oiled with the natural colour of wood retained or with a bleached effect; a custom-made 'raw floor' without finishing the surface; and leached or waxed floor.
